PT Residential Habilitation Counselor (TA), Updated 8.20.10
Direct service position working with adults with developmental disabilities in their home settings. Job tasks are focused on teaching, coaching and modeling daily life skills in order to assist individuals with greater independence and productivity.
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and one year of experience preferred. Significant experience with high school diploma or GED may be substituted for educational requirements. A valid New York State driver’s license, daily access to a reliable vehicle and a criminal background check also required. Candidates with experience in both the developmental disabilities and mental health fields encouraged to apply!
Schedule: 25 hours: Saturday, Sunday 9am - 4:30pm; weekday hours to be determined.
Salary: $9.94/hr and prorated benefits
