Family Services

Mental Health

Recognizing that the entire family is affected when an individual has a psychiatric disability, the Family Support and Education Program was developed to address family members' concerns. Offering consultation, education, and support, the program's success hinges on a twelve week class that teaches coping skills, communication techniques, and education about psychiatric disabilities as they impact the family. Crisis counseling and individualized support to families is available when requested.
