TLS Staff Trump Adversity
A determined team of TLS staff weathered an unexpected challenge during the J.P.Morgan Corporate Challenge race on June 22. A passing thunderstorm swept heavy rain across the Onondaga Parkway site of the race, delaying the start for more than an hour. Soaked racers and their supporters from agencies and businesses in the Central New York area passed the time with good humor, huddling under canopies meant for sunny weather, and eventually more than 6,000 people either walked or ran the three mile course.
TLS is proud of our own Melanie Greene, who coordinated TLS' participation in this event and completed the run. Her leadership in the Challenge is another reflection of her commitment to the goal of "Wellness" which the TLS team she leads, Community Support Services, espouses.
