TLS Directors Tapped to Present at Conferences
Three of TLS' Senior Managers were asked to participate as presenters in conferences during April and May. Ken Mack, Director of Mental Health Outreach Services, spoke at a New York State conference about his experience implementing agency-wide changes relative to electronic documentation. Mary Lee Walawender, Director of Mental Health Residential Services, was asked to speak at conferences in both Boston and Albany about services relative to people with both mental health and addiction issues. Aileen Jackowsky, Director of Continuous Quality Improvement, presented "StoryBank: Savings That Matter" at the NYSACRA annual conference (New York State Association of Community and Residential Agencies.) StoryBank is a model of recording individuals' stories to teach and inspire, similar to National Public Radio's StoryCorps.
